About Marcus Curtis
Marcus Curtis started playing guitar at the age of 14. By the time he was 21 he developed his own guitar curriculum and he was playing with a few different bands. Marcus has also improved upon his guitar course over the years by refining it and taking it to the digital domain. He has recorded music for students to play along with.
Marcus started learning analog recording engineering in the early 80’s. By the time he was 25 he was playing in a few different local recording studios. Over the past 35 years he has played weddings and social events. He also wrote and Scored music for a film shot on location in Southern California. His music also appears in movies produced by Northern Iron Productions. He has played with a few orchestras and a symphony and he has experience in doing live sound work.
Marcus likes to pursues anything that deals with guitar technology. He owns 2 guitar synthesizers and he works with guitar and amp modeling technology. Today he has a home project studio known as Man Cave Studios. He has recorded various members of the Tulsa Guitar Society in that studio. He has also performed live with this guitar society on occasion. His home project studio is filled with a lot of recording and music gear. He has produced several CDs/Albums out of this studio for various musicians. He is currently working on several recording projects which include projects for this website.
